ABOUT ME
I discovered yoga at the gym and via DVD’s (I know, crazy right?) in 2004 while living in San Diego. I moved to Seattle in 2006 and practiced yoga at various places until I decided it was time to take my yoga practice beyond the physical. I felt compelled to share the gift of yoga through teaching. I completed my 200-hr (2015) & 500-hr teacher training program in 2018. I am currently enrolled in my second 500hr certification with Amy Ippoliti and 90Monkeys school based out of Boulder, CO.

I find that yoga is the one constant form of movement that allows me to be in-tune with what my body needs. Although I love working up a sweat, I find that yoga is most beneficial for my mind – the practice allows me to let go of my often over-analytical thoughts and allows me to just be on my mat, quieting the chatter. I teach an alignment based, heart-themed practice, that empowers practitioners to take their yoga practice deeper through correct alignment and breath.

When I am not chasing around my two young kiddos I enjoy baking, cooking, traveling anywhere warm during the long rainy Seattle winters and going up to the mountains to unplug and reconnect to nature, fresh air, and the peace of mind that comes from a mini-sabbatical from the vibrant city life. I am extremely grateful for the opportunity to share my love of the practice with the Seattle yoga community and beyond.
